NJD, or New Junction discotheques as they were originally known, started manufacturing lighting products in Nottingham in the 1970’s. As technology has moved on, so did NJD’s innovative products, offering great value for money lighting solutions for all sectors of the entertainment industry.

Many DJ’s or entertainers will have fond memories of the ‘sound to light’ lighting panel boxes that clipped together, enhancing any show!

A few years ago saw NJD produce a range of products that have quickly become the staple diet of all live entertainers from solo’s to bands.......The SPECTRE and QUARTET systems quickly started to replace the more awkward and space consuming par cans. Either as colour wash or individual mood lighting, these concepts are still best sellers today. Recent years have seen a change towards LED lighting. This technology is extremely versatile, light, extremely long lasting........and doesn’t get hot! That reason alone is enough to invest in LED lighting!
